HOW SOON SHOULD WE BOOK OUR OFFICIANT?

Look for your wedding officiant as soon as you have set your wedding date and venue.  Contact us for a free consultation and learn how we work with you to create the ceremony of your heart’s desire.

HOW DO WE GET A MARRIAGE LICENSE IN NH?

You can get a marriage license from any town or city in New Hampshire.  First check for the clerk’s open days, hours, fee charged, and required documents. Go there together and complete the application. NOTE:  Pay attention to timing! The license is only valid for 90 days.

WILL YOU OFFICIATE ELOPEMENTS AND SHORT-NOTICE CEREMONIES?

YES!  If our schedule is open, you have a valid NH marriage license and required identification, then let’s do it! Our goal is to make your life easier. We strive to offer services at stress-free, convenient times and will travel to any mutually agreeable NH location.  Feel free to contact us to officiate your elopement or other ceremony with short notice. 

Same-day appointments may be available.

HOW DO WE RETAIN YOU?

First, we meet for a free initial consultation. You can ask questions, share your ideas, and decide if we are a good fit. The ceremony fee will vary depending on your choices, which we will review with you.  We need a signed contract and a 50% deposit to book the Justice of Peace and hold the ceremony date.  Contact us to schedule your initial consultation.

WHERE CAN WE HAVE OUR CEREMONY?

It is your wedding, you choose! Where do you picture getting married?  Inside a chapel, your home, a banquet hall? Outside in a garden or on the beach? We officiate ceremonies at any mutually agreeable location in New Hampshire. 

WHAT DOES THE CEREMONY INCLUDE? 

You may opt for the basics of a short pre-written ceremony, an elaborate ceremony, or anything in between. You may write all, some, or none of your vows, or other parts of the ceremony. You may include parents, children, friends, a theme, traditions, or rituals.  We will work with you to personalize the ceremony of your dreams! 

WHAT DO YOU WEAR?

I will usually wear a professional outfit in a neutral, classic color.  I can also blend in with most any color scheme or theme you wish for your ceremony

WHATWE DO NOT DO?

A Justice of the Peace CANNOT advise you on the contents of a document, how to complete a document, or if you should sign it.  Those are questions for your attorney, lender, or title company.
